Erika L. White (she/her) is the Diversity & Inclusion Manager for the Pennsylvania Convention Center, an ASM Global Managed facility. The advancement of businesses and organizations of a diverse background have been a passion for her since her early internships at New Freedom Theater and Riscoe & Associates. These positions served as a catalyst for her desire to serve the Philadelphia community as the Director of Community and Government Affairs for the Ogontz Avenue Revitalization Corporation, Director of the West Oak Lane Jazz and Arts Festival and later a Fundraising and Event Consultant for diverse non-profit organizations. As the Senior Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator for the American Lawyer top 100 law firm, Ballard Spahr LLP, she thrived in her role and aided in the growth and development of the firm’s multi-office, student mentoring program, business development initiatives and managed the Business Resource Groups. In her role with the Pennsylvania Convention Center she is focused on growing the overall Diversity & Inclusion program with a direct concentration on Supplier Diversity, specifically increasing the number of minority, women and disadvantaged owned businesses that the Convention Center does business with. She is also aiming her attention on community outreach and workforce development.

Erika sits on The Shipley School Alumni Council and serves as Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. She serves on the PHLDiversity Advisory Board and is a planning committee member for the Philadelphia Diversity & Inclusion Conference.

She has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Administration from Drexel University Lebow College of Business and is a candidate for certification as a Certified Diversity Executive from the Institute for Diversity Certification. Erika is a mentor to young women, a full-time minister and evangelizer and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.
