Assessments

Before you begin the work of becoming a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization, you must understand your current state. A comprehensive audit conducted by outside experts is often the most effective way to develop a clear, unbiased understanding of where you are succeeding and where you have opportunities to grow.

You want to ensure that your limited time, effort, and resources are directed toward DEI interventions that will have the highest impact. Seen@Work assessments will ensure that you are making informed decisions and seeing real results.

Our Flagship Assessment Offerings

The four audits listed above are Seen@Work’s flagship offerings. The first three are crafted to zoom in on the most fundamental aspects of what makes an organization diverse, equitable, or inclusive. Aspects of any or all other audits can be packaged together in a Full DEI Audit.

  • A Diversity Recruitment Audit analyzes the practices, policies, and historical outcomes of your hiring efforts. This audit starts with a review of all of your Talent Sources, and then covers the entire new-hire process: their understanding of your Employer Brand, their path through your Recruitment Funnel, and their experience of Candidate Selection.

  • A Promotions Equity Audit investigates whether advancement and/or performance evaluations may be occurring inequitably along identity lines like gender, race/ethnicity, or others. If desired, Seen@Work can also conduct a Pay Equity Audit to study compensation data including base salary, bonuses, stock options, and benefits. These audits carefully control for variables like level, tenure, and function to isolate which systems and structures might not adequately lead to fair outcomes.

  • An Inclusion Audit evaluates how your workplace environment makes employees of all identities feel—do they experience psychological safety? Do they feel that they belong? How does that impact their work, and their working relationships? This audit assesses drivers of these feelings across teams, departments, and functions to identify what to emulate and what to revise.

All audits yield a comprehensive report detailing the team’s findings and strategic recommendations, and all recommendations can be placed onto a strategic roadmap to take action. Seen@Work is also pleased to develop custom assessments to meet your organization’s needs.
